Capes & Cakes was a playful, hands-on experience led by Elena Beale, blending textile art, printmaking, and baking. Participants painted antique cotton fabric with clay slip, stamped designs using fruits and vegetables, then hand-sewed their own capes. In the final session, we baked and decorated whimsical cakes. The experience culminated at the Vamos a Ver exhibition, where we celebrated creativity, community, and play—draped in handmade capes, enjoying homemade cake, and sipping bubbly.
